The Earth Initiative

While we're extremely passionate about hockey, the truth is there are many more important matters happening in our world. Our oceans, air and land are in despair because of the travesties we've put it through over our time on this earth. Humans in third world countries are suffering through extreme poverty and near slave labour just to survive. Animals cruelty, endangerment and extinction is at unprecedented levels. In this modern age, being a fair trade business and environmentally friendly is as important as anything.

We've committed to doing our part in changing things for the better and hope that others will be inspired to do the same for the betterment of our planet and our people. Some of the ways we hope to make a difference include:
- using only recycled or upcycled material for shipping supplies
- going paperless for everything possible
- apparel which is locally made of sustainable material
- collecting used equipment from the community for the underprivileged youth in struggling countries
- selling goods manufactured in fair labour factories.

We're also proud to work with TK Hockey, who's brand logo is an elephant if you didn't realize. TK supports the rehabilitation and care of elephants through conservation parks. They have even adopted an elephant, the lovely Tembo at Elephant Whispers in Hazyview, South Africa!
